Skymill is a kinetic sculpture that brings weather forecasts to life in a way that feels both natural and tangible. Rather than relying on numbers or digital displays, its metal arms move and shift in response to the weather in real-time, creating a visual experience that’s constantly evolving.
When the sun rises outside, the sun icon on Skymill rises with it, while the moon slowly sets. When it starts to rain, the rain icon lift up and joins the cloud. It’s designed not just to serve a function, but to offer a more immediate, almost intuitive connection to the natural rhythms around us. The movement is subtle, but it’s a reminder that the sky is always with us and always changing.
